About the position
The energy industry is changing now, and E.ON is driving the energy transition. E.ON’s Energy Infrastructure Solution (EIS) is best positioned to drive that transition together with our B2B and municipal customers and partners.
To succeed that journey, digitalisation through data-driven optimisation is a key enabler for our EIS business to grow within the Nordics. Our mission is to drive the digital transformation within our energy systems and production assets to enable a sustainable transition of the energy sector. Our focus is to maximize customer and business value by turning data and information into smart solutions.
In your role as a Data Analytics Lead, you are responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing automation and optimisation initiatives around our production and operational data.
We need you and your expertise to accelerate our journey which we already started successfully with internally developed solutions like ectogridTM. In addition, we have several exciting initiatives ongoing from building up an operations data platform, designing data-driven optimization to predictive maintenance and we need you to take it to the next level. The role is valuable for us to ensure that we are on right path to meet our ambitious growth and sustainable goals and you will also be involved in setting the right strategic digital & data priorities. In your daily work, you will work hand in hand with the operational teams, a range of internal stakeholders as well as E.ON’s international teams.
The role is located in Malmö or Stockholm, but some traveling will be necessary (20%).
Who we’re looking for
We hope that can relate to several of the below bullet points but are also curious about you with a different background. We believe that you have:
* University degree in IT or relevant engineering discipline
* Experience in working with data-driven optimization as well with data analytics, machine learning, data engineering (knowledge of Microsoft Azure set-up beneficial)
* Experience within energy systems or an operations-heavy industries
* Profound operational experience in translating user requirements into digital product design, as well as developing and operating digital solutions
* Pragmatic approach to problem solving, being able to reconcile the ideal solution with the solution that can realistically be implemented, given constraints on the ground
* Being able to build a bridge between business representatives with limited data/digital skills on one hand and digital development teams on the other hand
* Ability to inspire others and to lead project/development teams
