Data Analytics Lead - Parts & Logistics

Arbetsbeskrivning

Our world is a world of change.

Our organization is based on people and great teamwork. We are a truly global company, we rely on diversity and together we create a workplace that brings the best out of everyone.

Here at Volvo CE we are driven by the idea that through imagination, hard work, and technological innovation we will lead the way towards developing a world that is cleaner, smarter, and more connected.

We believe in a sustainable future and with the global construction industry as our arena, we work together with our customers to turn this belief into reality for people everywhere. That is our purpose, and we live and breathe it, every day. With that, we are “Building Tomorrow”!

Do you want to be a part of building the world we want to live in?

We are looking for a Data Analytics Lead in Parts & Logistics to join Volvo CE’s Analytics team. You will be part of the Digital & IT organization, where we are responsible for the enablers that help the Parts & Logistics community report and analyze Volvo CE’s performance in the Service Market.

First and foremost, you will be the Product Owner of Volvo CE’s new data analytics solution for Parts & Logistics. We are currently redesigning and migrating the existing solution (BEAT) to Microsoft Azure. Since development is ongoing, you will have the opportunity to shape the future solution in collaboration with our project team and incredibly knowledgeable user community.

What you’ll do
Closely collaborate with your key users in Parts & Logistics, other Data Analytics Leads, and the Head of Analytics to set the roadmap and development plan for our IT delivery teams.
Translate user requirements into clear IT specifications for our delivery teams and collaborate to deliver new Analytics enablers end to end.
Make sure that our extended team is doing the right things, and has a healthy balance of innovation, reducing technical debt, and providing maintenance and support.

Mindset & Competences
You are self-motivated and have a strong focus on the delivery of user value. You are driven to get stuff done with a collaborative mindset. “You don’t win unless your team wins”.
You have an interest and perhaps even experience working with product or IT development in a Product. Owner/Business Analyst role or similar, in high-performing, cross-functional teams. Knowledge of Volvo CE’s after-market business is a plus.
You are interested in how products work “under the hood” and are comfortable collaborating and discussing technical approaches and challenges with developers and engineers.
You are well organized and have great attention to detail. You're a fast learner and can quickly digest and triangulate multiple sources of information.
You are able to take a vision and make it yours by communicating it in your own words. You can take the same vision and pick it down into a strategy that your team, as well as your users, buy into.
You are an excellent communicator in English, whether it be in words or in writing.

What you know
Agile Project Management experience will be held in high regard.
You have some experience with the BI & Analytics stack on Azure.
You have experience working with various front-end tools such as PowerBI and SAP Web Intelligence, as well as some knowledge of Python and/or KNIME is a plus.
You are comfortable working with various collaboration tools such as JIRA, AzureDevOps & Microsoft Teams.

Who are you?
We don’t know yet, do we?
Our values are Trust, Passion, Change, Performance and Customer Success and if they light your inner fire, you might be the next player in our great team! In preparation for our discussion, we would appreciate if you consider the following questions in your application/cover letter:
What is the bravest decision you have taken in the last 6 months?
Describe your most successful collaboration the last year?
Describe our future digital landscape (in 5 years) and our opportunities in that scenario?
