Northvolt Ett has an exciting job offer for a Quality Engineer (m/f/d) to join our new Quality Team in Skellefteå.
We are searching for someone passionate about using data visualization, statistics, and modelling to build products with the highest quality. As a Quality Engineer (m/f/d) with expertise within data analytics you will be driving the optimisation of manufacturing and improvement of quality level, predictive quality, performance and reliability of process and product in manufacturing.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Setup excellent technical requirements screening system and tool setup to ensure focusing on quality in innovating product environment.
Coordination and moderation of DFSS & Lean Six Sigma Projects.
Transfer of R&D know-how to process and process technology in order of robust production setup.
Review complex function chains and definition of CTC parameters.
Using statically data's as standard for entire robustness program.
Processing large amounts of process and product data to define quality improvements for each process operation.
Implement predictive quality methodology to eliminate the need for outgoing quality controls. Optimise and control processes to reduce or remove process steps.
Control tolerance propagation though chain of processes at NV Ett, determine impact and set mechanism to achieve right level of control.
Set up quality monitoring procedures, evaluate performance and make improvement proposals, i.e. Process capability: SPC and Cpk.
Run advanced data analytics to identify process and product parameters that are significant and influence product quality.
Work towards eliminating variability and achieving high process capability, reliability and robustness.
Utilise advanced traceability data to drive improved quality performance.
Work together with the Digitization Team to develop advanced data models for predictive quality performance.
Oversee appropriate Quality and process KPI's, review results and process performance to initiate improvement projects.
Lead trouble shooting and root cause analysis activities in relation to deviations and quality issues, e.g. 8D/six sigma, utilising advanced data analytics.
Leading complex problem solving and process optimisation, i.e. skilled in DMAIC etc.

The Data Analytics Quality Engineer will be based in Skellefteå.
Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
5+ years of relevant work experience within high volume assembly/production
MSc degree in Chemistry/Manufacturing/Engineering/Computer Science
Certified six sigma professional black belt
Education in relevant quality and industrialisation discipline
Experience in MSA, DMAIC, DoE and control plan development
Knowledgeable in appropriate statistical software, e.g. MiniTab, Modde/Simca, Python etc.
Knowledgeable in statistics and multivariate data analysis
Experience of quality management in relevant industry, e.g. battery, automotive, pharma, food, pulp & paper, FMCG
Knowledge of quality management systems, e.g. ISO 9001, IATF16949, TQM
Project management skills and a successful track record of leading quality improvement/six sigma projects in manufacturing and/or with suppliers
Knowledgeable in Lean and six sigma
Expert in SPC, process capability, Quality troubleshooting tools and problem-solving methodology as well as advanced statistics
