Visma Finance is a fintech start-up on a path to become a leading financing source for small businesses in Visma’s markets, by supplying automated and digital financial services. Visma Finance provides its financial products as a part of various economic reporting systems (ERP’s) enabling a smooth and integrated customer experience for the system user.
Visma Finance today consists of a team in Stockholm and one in Vilnius, totaling 19 people. We are a tight-knit crew who operates at a high pace, with lots of energy and room for discussions. Visma Finance is a part of the Visma corporate group and acts as its financial institution in supplying financial products and services.
The key in bringing the financial services and products to life, and enabling the automated service, is unique data and Machine Learning. Visma Finance has access to information no other financial provider has, giving us an edge in data driven decision making, customer on-boarding, credit decisions and product offering!
Who are you?
You are a driven team player who believes in transparency, knowledge sharing, and thrives in the art of using data to set the strategic direction for the business. Ideally you have 1-3 years of relevant work experience, and you also enjoy writing code and can produce a maintainable code base used to set parameters for our business systems, alongside our Machine Learning solutions. You are not afraid to take actions and work independently, but you also seek input when needed to make progress.
The skills to get the job done
Apart from having an educational background from a university in a highly technically numerate subject (e.g. Industrial Economy, Statistics, Engineering or Computer Science) and relevant work experience, these are things you should have in your toolkit:
Experience using Tableau or Click-view to create BI and do data analysis and visualizations
Experience from work with setting KPIs and metrics in order to track product performance
Experience using Python and SQL to integrate and work with data is a strong merit
Experience from AWS or GCP is a merit
Strong communication and presentation skills

My name is Patrik Blomdahl, and I am the recruiting manager for the role as Data and BI analyst in my team.
I lead the Data Science team at Visma Finance which is responsible for delivering the Machine Learning systems and analytics being used to help automate the delivery of our financial product to Visma’s ERP end users. We take a firm starting point in data, and we have lots of it, giving us unique opportunities to deliver excellent services, and build really cool stuff!
In my role as manager I will do my best to give you, and the rest of the team, the best prerequisites to focus on your job and deliver value, and also grow in your current role as well as the future ones. I am also always available to discuss things, high and low, to make sure you enjoy working in my team.
