What awaits you?

As the data architect you will be part of our new data and analytics team within Financial Services in the Nordics. You will be driving the implementation of new data sources, manage and control our existing data sets. In this position you will work in close alignment with the central data functions, local and central IT. The role will report functionally to the Product Owner of the Data Analytics team and disciplinary to the Manager Controlling SF.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Ensure data governance and quality
• Manage, control, and document data sources and data sets
• Streamlining of data and validation of data quality
• Enabling of data science processes
• Enabling of data engineering capabilities
• Frequently review and suggest improvements of all processes related to data information.
• Monitor and implement new developments within data and analytics.

What should you bring along?

• University degree within technology, engineering, statistics.
• Previous experience within data architecture, data management, data integration/ETL, data warehousing
• Experienced with business intelligence tools deployed in a complex environment
• Understanding of data and systems engineering concepts
• Result oriented mindset
• Executing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment
• Agile Project Management
• Excellent technical and analytical skills

Further information

The position is located at BMW´s Nordic head office in Sollentuna / Silverdal. The premises are modern and include a lunch restaurant as well as access to a gym and daily workouts.
