Description

The client is looking for a skilled Data Architect.

The main deliverables are contributions to the existing team on two ongoing different epics:

- Rebuilding and orchestrating the clients risk business rule engine code (Pyspark on on prem HDFS cluster) to build a data driven flow where risk model updates transparently when pertinent features change. Persisting the results in a cache layer and building an API layer on top for adhoc requests.

- Design and build data collection from the whole KYC review journey by integrating data from different source systems as well as Excel files. Modeling and building a data warehouse and OLAP engine for adhoc report consumption.

Mandatory competence and experience:

- You should have a strong data modeling and database development skills with SQL.

- You should have a ETL , ELT and Data Warehousing Data Lakehouse architecture background, knowledge of OLAP : experience from designing and building data flows for data warehousing

- Brief exposure to Data Visualisation tools such as Tableau and building Self Service analytics models.

- Working with Data Lakes and Spark as the computational engine and orchestration tools such as Airflow.

- Knowledge of Devops and containers.
