WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for a Data Business Partner to join us in on our data transformation and bring enthusiasm for doing better business with data across Ingka.
Our diverse Data & Analytics team is growing, as we are driving a data revolution to enable our business transformation. We believe you have a passion for driving
establishment of data frameworks and processes, securing data as a key enabler of growth, advanced analytics, business opportunities and exploration, and compliance
You recognize yourself being:
•first and foremost a passionate businessperson, with great knowledge of data and how it is used in Ingka business process, and big enthusiasm to find new opportunities with data
• a team player who loves collaborating with others to understand their business challenges and find ways to renew and improve with data as well as deploy ways of working and end-to-end processes
• energized by working to establish ways of working with data and collaborating across Ingka, during a time of major change in our business model and foundational data technologies
• passionate about data quality and data quality improvement, where your colleagues call you an evangelist for data quality and usability
• motivated by a fast-paced environment, with many priorities and ongoing activities – with a great focus on delivering value and bringing people together to solve real-world problems
• a self-starter, finding opportunities to make proactive improvements and collaborating with others to make it happen
• motivated by learning about different areas of Ingka and helping others to learn about better ways with data, eager to be part of finding a new way to secure relevantly, high-quality, and usable data to enable digital transformation
• enthusiastic about Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the role high-quality data plays in the development of advanced analytical models and algorithms
And carrying a backpack with:
• passion for doing better business better with data, and a clear experience working with data in an operational context to drive business change
• experience of turning abstract ideas into clear concepts, opportunities, and operationalizable actions with speed and passion
• experience driving data-heavy business areas, with a strong understanding of the role of high-quality usable data in our business processes
• an education in information technology, finance, business, economics or equivalent (at least a BA)
• demonstrated leadership experience, and strong knowledge of change management and working with a variety of stakeholders
• knowledge and experience with data and data management

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
You will have a great role in revolutionising ways for IKEA to interact with our customers, putting data and analytics at the heart of all that we do, and finding new business opportunities across the company. Having our enterprise data in great shape for our business operations is a key enabler of our success.
Every day will be different, but you can expect that most of your time will be spent on the following:
• driving operationalisation of a framework for governing, managing, and optimising data across Ingka
• delivery of competence, knowledge, and ways of working around data to various Group Functions or countries
• actively supporting the Country Data Management Leaders matrix to secure the needed competence development, aligned roadmaps for data, and common and integrated ways of working
• developing end-to-end ways of working with data that incorporate country data requirements, agile development team needs, and fit-for purpose data to enable business processes
• supporting learning and collaboration through networks and data communities within and outside IKEA to identify opportunities/innovation and share knowledge
• ensuring efficient and effective use of data across the full IKEA value chain to improve business outcomes with data and information end-to-end
• building trust and collaborating in digital domains and product teams as well as with other areas within and outside of IKEA
• enthusiastically helping others learn and adapt to new ways of working, including selling in new requirements and benefits of changes
We have the great ambition to enable high-quality, relevant master data that can be used across the enterprise – by creating a clear picture of what good looks like, and supporting teams with tools, tips, tricks, and methodologies to get there.
OUR TEAM WITHIN IKEA
As part of IKEA’s journey to strengthen our digital capabilities, we are further developing our Data & Analytics function. You will be part of the Data Enablement Center of
Expertise, in our Data & Analytics organisation, together with other leaders, specialists, and operational teams. We are all focused on securing an end-to-end approach for data across the entire IKEA value chain.
We play an important part for our customer facing business, where autonomous teams are focused on delivering business outcomes, and data being the foundation.
