We are now looking for a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician.

Responsibilities:
As a successful Datacenter Inventory & Asset Technician, your day-to-day work will include:
Supporting the warehouse and logistics function through logical material movements, including the sending and receiving of assets, and inventory management such as controlling the documentation of your incoming and outgoing shipments.
Moving material and assets physically, using powered and manual pallet jacks or other assisted lifting equipment.
Perform regular audits and updates of datacenter assets and equipment such as spare parts to ensure inventory controls are met.
Handling and doing physical audits of storage medias and Data Bearing Devices.
Work within a ticket-based environment.
Perform destruction of data bearing devices (ex. Hard drives, solid state drives, etc.).

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
At least One (1) year of experience in warehouse/supply chain/logistics
Valid driving license
Valid Fork truck and heavy lifting equipment licenses
Basic computer skills and the ability to work with applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word
Fluent in English both oral and in writing, as our customers working language is English
While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:
Desire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills.
Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance.
Able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Proficient in written and oral English communication to support regional and global teams.
Flexibility to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays.
The candidates we are looking for are fluent in English and you have a Swedish work visa already in place to be taken into consideration. The position as Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician will be based at our clients’ office in Gävle. The position is full time, with core business hours 8.00 – 16.30, Monday through Friday. The work day pattern includes two breaks, each of 30 minutes.
