Data Center Technician

We are seeking proficient Data Center Technician with a diverse skill set to ensure optimal performance of our data servers and network infrastructure.
In this role, your responsibilities will encompass: • Monitoring and conducting ongoing maintenance on servers and network equipment.
• Implementing and applying Safe Systems of Work in compliance with Statutory Mechanical and/or Electrical Regulations.
• Supervising network processes to ensure the seamless flow of data across the network.
• Collaborating with software and network engineering teams to enhance cybersecurity and network efficiency.
• Documenting processes and maintaining event logs.
• Providing insights into the procurement of new data center equipment.
• Staying informed about emerging trends in data center technologies.
• Assisting in evaluating, reviewing, and maintaining a register of skilled/competent persons, including records of training and areas of responsibilities.
• Supporting Authorized Persons and Skilled/Competent Persons in the Practical Implementation of Statutory Mechanical and/or Electrical Regulations.
• Adhering to Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA&QC) Manager processes. Data Center


Technician Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications
• 2-3 years of experience as a data center technician or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network equipment.
• Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipment.
• Exceptional teamwork skills, ability to provide IT support, and resolve errors.
• Keen awareness of advancements in data center infrastructure and technologies.
• Proficient in documenting network processes.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Proficiency in the English language is essential
