We are looking for an outstanding individual to help the Data Curation team part-time, as an Egyptian Arabic Language Data Curator, for our client. Over the course of this project, the team is responsible for transcribing descriptions of the music that power multiple features. The goal is to increase the confidence level in the accuracy of their translations, which will eventually impact the way their users interact with some of their music experiences. You’ll work in web-based applications that they built to curate and analyze the data, providing corrections and translations for particular words and phrases. Fluent Egyptian Arabic is required, as is expertise in Egyptian music, and music culture. No coding or development experience is needed, but they do require the capacity to learn constantly. This role also requires you to be meticulous, creative, and passionate about details!

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
- Work part-time in a field focusing on translation quality data that trains ML models
- Validate or manually translate English terms into Egyptian Arabic
- Evaluate quality of the iteration of the model as it improves
- Meet weekly and monthly translation targets
- Translate established guidelines into daily work practices
- Contribute to process improvements to reduce handling time and increase output
- Work closely with a small team passionate about data and recommendations quality
