Data Engineer

About the job
We support our customers to increase the safety on the roads by developing Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Drive (AD).
We are now looking for a data engineer to join our team at AFRY, dedicated to set and execute data strategy and implementation. Increase development productivity and resource usage efficiencies by creating tools, methods, and pipelines that facilitate processing and management of raw data. You will develop, test, and maintain data architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems.
Within Automotive Design & Engineering at AFRY, we develop and deliver solutions for vehicles, systems, functions and attributes to customers in the automotive industry. Our customers are both established OEM´s, start-up companies and system suppliers. At AFRY we challenge and learn of each other. Who are you?
You have an BSc or MSc degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar. You have experience in working with data engineering and have hands-on experience of working with large real-world datasets. A broad overview and strong data architecture skills are required.
In addition you have:

Experience in Python and/or C++.
Knowledge and experience of various database systems and data solutions.
Experience in big data platforms, like Spark and Hadoop.
Good knowledge in working with Microsoft Azure or AWS
Knowledge in Elasticsearch

For this position it is a requirement to have a Swedish Driver’s license (B).
