Data Engineer

We now have a great opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer to our group Data & Analytics team in Stockholm. I am Magnus Dahlbäck, the leader of our team of Data Engineers, and I am looking for a talented Data Engineer to help us build new, awesome analytical products for customers across all countries of Telia Company.

At Telia Company, you will have a key role in our group common Data & Analytics team and help us to create true business value through data and analytics and make Telia Company a more data-driven organization. To succeed, we need to shorten time to insight and build even more reliable analytical data products. This is where we need your help.
Our team consists of data engineers, data analysts, data scientists and architects located in the Nordic and Baltics, working together in cross-functional, domain-oriented agile teams. If you want to be in the forefront of big data and advanced analytics with a 1+ PB data lake at your hands and play an important role in implementing our new target analytics architecture from the very start, you are perfect for my team.

Your Experience:
Extensive experience as software developer with solid software engineering skills
Extensive experience in coding in Java/Scala or Python
Experience in Big Data technologies (e.g. Spark) or Data Warehouse development
Good understanding of DevOps and agile software development principles
Experience in Big Data technologies (e.g. Spark and Kafka) and Data Warehouse development
Experience in Apache Airflow and common CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins and Maven is meriting
Experience in microservices, container (e.g. Kubernetes) and cloud (e.g. AWS, GCP) technologies is meriting
Degree in Computer Science or similar field
Fluent in English
