Kambi Sweden is looking for a team-oriented Data Engineer with a love of learning new things. The team is located in central Stockholm with responsibility for the continuous extract, load, transform and integration of data from various sources and provide pipelines for data scientists, analytics and our customers. They also work on business intelligence, and are a focal point for supplying data in a presentable format.

Whilst this team is very collaborative and cross-functional, the ambition of the team is to be self-organizing, so every member is expected to contribute and be open to try new ways of working and improving the team’s methods. The team offers a lot of independence, freedom and autonomy to be creative with how you solve problems.
This is what our Data Engineers do:
Design, implement, test and tune quality data solutions at multi-terabyte scale
Design and deploy production supported dimensional models, star schemas and/or data marts
Coach data users within Kambi to improve their understanding and ability to leverage data
These are the technologies and languages our Data Engineers currently are working with:
ETL/ELT
AWS
Java and/or Python
SQL
Vertica
Linux
The skills needed for this position are:
ETL (e.g. Data Stage, Informatica, PDI, Vertica etc)
Advanced SQL experience with the ability to write complex queries
Linux
AWS or cloud experience in general would be desirable
