Our Marketing Technology team focuses on creating data products to enable better ads, more precise bidding and smarter budget management. We provide data and insights to the marketing organization, enabling them in their decision-making. This includes working with integrations and processes as well as data flows and data pipelines. As a Data Engineer on this team, you and your colleagues have a unique opportunity to influence how we utilize data to make better business decisions.
How you will make an impact;
- You will be joining an organization with passionate data engineers, data analysts and software engineers. This is a chance to be part of architecting, designing and building a marketing technology and data platform and toolbox that scales worldwide.
- You will be setting up and/or building analytics tools, both through internally developed software and on Google Cloud Platform.
- You will be working with business stakeholders, marketing experts and data analysts to design data models to quantitatively support everything from corporate strategy to user acquisition.
- You will be partnering with the data engineering team as well as product development teams to build the infrastructure and tracking needed to provide data analysis and insights tools.
Who you are;
We think you are a Data Engineer or a Backend Engineer with a passion for data and analytics. You love collaboration and teamwork in agile environments. You are curious and eager to learn and you thrive when you get to share your knowledge with others. Some of the abilities and skills which will help you in this role are;
- Experience working as a data engineer, building data flows and data pipelines
- Experience working with the Google Cloud Platform, dbt, Airflow, etc
- Knowledge of at least one programming language, ideally Python
- Interest or experience within marketing technology, marketing or business growth domains
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience from agile methodologies and environments
- Interest in actively contributing to the team’s technical strategy and roadmap
- Interest in supporting and mentoring other team members, for example by sharing your knowledge
