Power data-driven decision making
In the role as Data Engineer, you are part of our IT organization in our newly-established Group Data & Analytics area. Our value chain at Boliden runs from exploration through metal production to recycling. This offers synergies and insights for us to make smarter business decisions.
We trust you to help build and maintain data systems to analyze and support Boliden’s operations. To develop and test architectures for data extraction, combine information from different sources and visualize data.
You get to:
Bring your own ideas to the table on ways to extract value out of our data
Develop and maintain datasets, data products or models
Assist in building an analytics platform from its early stages
Understand analytics use-cases around the business and influence the platform accordingly to accommodate such needs
Improve data quality and efficiency

This position provides interaction with people, technologies and operations, where you get to visit our different sites and have the possibility of hybrid work (Preferably located in Boliden. )

Are you who we are looking for?

You have knowledge and skills in:
Data mining to search data for patterns and trends
Data models to visualize data
Cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS
Programming languages like Java or Python
SQL writing
Communication in English, and preferably Swedish
Driver license for passenger car

It’s a plus if you have experience in platform building.
