😄 ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team at Dema, who will be responsible for building and maintaining our modern data stack. The person will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality and availability, and enabling the discovery of insights that will drive business decisions
📋 WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design, build, and maintain a modern data stack.
- Architect, implement, and maintain data pipelines feeding data from various sources into our data warehouse.
- Ensure that our data warehouse is performant and scalable as needed with support from other data engineers.
- Collaborate with product developers and data scientists to deliver new data features and enable the discovery of insights.
- Design data models that enable long-term stability, maintainability, and scalability of our data warehouse.
- Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for data pipelines.
- Work with the team to make data easily accessible and understandable for our stakeholders.
⭐ WHO YOU ARE
- Extensive experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Python/SQL and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines running in a distributed processing environment
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or similar.
- Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ClickHouse is a big plus.
