Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in Sweden. We are determined to become a centre of excellence for big data and future analytics stack. Are you passionate about data engineering?

You are an experienced data engineer who is eager to refactor infrastructure to improve scalability and cost efficiency, genuinely interested in technology trends and applying them in practice and believe in possibilities of data and analytics. You are an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and data delivery.

You are innovative!

Do you question traditional approaches and have an analytical mind-set to break down complex issues? You are excited to challenge and re-design our company’s data architecture to support next generation analytics, deliver proof-of-concept projects and lead long term implementation projects. If building a sustainable data lake to help us become data driven and think through sustainable long term solutions is your strength, we are certainly looking for you.

You

You have strong understanding of data lake concepts, experience in building data pipeline architecture, scalable microservices and API based integration. You have experience of Hadoop ecosystem, data cataloguing and building self-service tools. You have 8+ years of experience in software industry. You enjoy mentoring & guiding new team members to learn & implement new technologies. If you have worked with Talend, Spark, Kafka, AWS using Cloudera stack and advanced analytics tools, we will appreciate you even more!
