Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
Designing and implementing scalable ETL processes to support data transformation and integration tasks.
Building and maintaining robust data pipelines from diverse sources using technologies such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
Developing and optimizing data warehouse solutions for efficient data retrieval and analysis.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Utilizing cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for deploying and managing data infrastructure.
Implementing containerization strategies (Kubernetes, PBS) to ensure scalability and reliability of data systems.
Monitoring data quality and performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data integrity across all processes.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of data engineering best practices and standards.

What You Bring:
5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering with a focus on ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data manipulation and automation.
Strong understanding of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting for system integration tasks.
Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (GitLab, Gerrit, Jenkins) for software development workflows.
Knowledge of database systems including Relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
Familiarity with data engineering tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and workflow management tools like Airflow.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data-related issues.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
