About the role

As a Data Engineer at Clas Ohlson, your mission is to work alongside with other data engineers and data scientists in the cross-functional, agile team to develop, improve and maintain a scalable and efficient platform and solutions. You will be working closely with the team in an agile mindset and support the organization to enable large scale advanced analytics use cases.

We are looking for Data engineers with focus on AI solutions and a passion for building advanced analytics platform and solutions which are production-ready and scalable for complex business problem solving purposes.

You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, scalable solutions for large-scale machine learning purposes. This will include:

- Building AI engineering solutions to empower Data scientists in solving business problems.
- Design, implement and run data pipelines in Azure.
- Orchestrating the scheduling and integration of automated tasks in a complex system landscape
- Creating reusable datasets for use by both humans and machines


About You:

You’re a prestigeless problem solver and a person who like to challenge yourself with new tasks in a rapidly changing technology context. We see that you have experience from collaboration in data science team and knowledge within at least one programming language, preferable Python.

Other areas where we like you to have experience with is:

- Data pipelines experience in Azure or other cloud solutions
- Infrastructure as code with Terraform


It’s also a merit if you are familiar with CI/CD and DevOps and are comfortable with SQL & batch/stream processing. A university or college degree in a relevant field is desirable and you have a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English.
