Data Engineer – Big Data

This is an opportunity for you to be a part of a skilled team taking our Data Platform forward as we are building a real time data platform that is scaling to support Kambi’s growing needs.

You will join a small and dedicated team to solve problems and explore new technologies together in a DevOps environment. A quick look at our tech stack shows Java, Kafka, Apache Spark, REST/JSON, Linux, Maven, Git, SQL/NoSQL databases and AWS (Kubernetes, Athena, S3). We are a company in change, with an ongoing AWS cloud journey and we can offer an exciting environment where you can grow and learn .

We are looking for a Data Engineer to strengthen our team, with both Big Data and AWS knowledge. We believe you have worked for at least 3 -4 years in an agile setting. If you have experience of Hive or Athena that is a great asset. It is also beneficial if you have an interest in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Since we’re currently exploring new opportunities, we believe that you will thrive in this role if you are solution-oriented and enjoy finding new ways to solve problems in collaboration with the rest of the team. You also know when you need to let go of an idea and are excited to learn new technologies.
