Who are we?
Volvo Cars is a company on a mission; to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable and smart future. Since 1927, we have been a brand known for our commitment to safety, creating innovative cars that make life less complicated for our consumers. In 2010, we decided to transform our business, resulting in a totally new generation of cars and technologies, as well as steady growth and record sales. Today, we’re expanding our global footprint in Europe, China and the US, and we’re on the lookout for new talent. We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.

What’s the challenge?
Volvo Cars is performing a strategic shift towards becoming a software driven company, with data being a core asset in this transformation. Within our cluster we are in the process of establishing the foundation for future analytical capabilities. Sustainability is one of our key priorities, and you will be part of the journey to design and implement the digital capabilities required to support CO2 emission calculation as a step to achieving our company’s sustainability goals.
One challenge today is information being scattered across several applications – our mission is to simplify and make this data accessible for our people. Furthermore, we are striving towards having one single source of truth for the data and to enable efficient governance of the data used.

You will join the Supply Chain and Logistics product cluster within the Supply Chain Management and Procurement area at Volvo Cars. You will be part of the journey as we deliver on our company’s vision to enable the freedom to move in a personal, sustainable, and safe way. We use modern tools and agile methods to create business value continuously. We ensure high quality and adaptability in our delivery. Of course, we have fun together while doing it.

We work according to the SAFe framework; 2-week sprints and 12-week PI-increments. However, we’re not religious about it and are constantly evaluating how to work in the best way, applying common sense to ensure as little waste as possible.

Who are you?
You are curious, visionary, self-propelled, ready to walk the extra mile. We believe that you are user-focused and passionate about solving problems. You are flexible, open to new ideas and always looking for ways to improve.
An analytical mindset and an eagerness to learn are two very important qualities to have. You share knowledge within the team. You are energetic, forward-thinking and you push for innovation. You need to help us push the boundaries of what’s possible. We trust you to own your decisions in your field of expertise.
