Job Description
As a Data Engineer in the Data Quality Measurements & Insights team, you will be part of a team with a mix of data engineers and data specialists working with a wide range of data sources and information domains. You will be an important link between the data specialist, who focus on shaping the requirements for the datasets in the platform, and the stakeholders around us that we collaborate with to onboard and shape the data that the team requires.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Onboard data sources to our cloud platform
Active collaboration with data specialists to shape datasets fit for purpose
Strong understanding in working with large and complex data sets
Perform data analysis to ensure data is correctly used in our data quality KPIs and reports
Ensuring that our platform functions seamlessly and is optimized for efficiency and security according to the teams DevOps principles
Securing the platform is stable from an operational perspective
Designing and implementing database objects
Communicate data insights and recommendations to key stakeholders, internally and externally.
Keep yourself up to speed on changes in the landscape/products that affect the data in the relevant domains
Have an open and transparent mindset to support knowledge transfer in the team.

Qualifications
Qualifying skills:
Expert in T-SQL and stored procedures
Experienced in the concept of cloud computing services
Experienced in creating ETL processes
Experienced in CI/CD methodology
Experienced in data analysis with the ability to identify patterns and anomalies in data
Comfortable working with REST-API:s
Comfortable working in an agile development team
Tools/software:
Azure DevOps
Azure Data Factory
Azure SQL database
Microsoft SQL
Jira
Microsoft PowerBI is a plus
Required language skills:
English - You need to be very comfortable in writing and speaking it as it is the language used within H&M group, the team and with our stakeholders.
