Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of sustainable transport solutions and we are looking for you who want to be a part of that change and making a difference! The team culture is very helping and learning and that is needed since there is a lot of possibilities that we need to harness in a good way.
Your tasks
You and the team will be working with a number of backend services in AWS and some 3rd party tools, providing capabilities for our stakeholders (i.e. different type of developers/teams with focus on data) to get access to needed data in an efficient and automated way. We aim to set up a self-serve data infrastructure as a platform to enable traditional data sharing and creation of Data products in Scania’s coming Data Mesh.
You will be co-operating closely with other teams, both within the IT-organisation and the business organisation in order to create the best possible platform for secure and efficient data sharing.
Your profile
You are a person who enjoys working in a team that takes pride in doing things right and always aims to deliver services that enable the other development teams to be as proficient as possible in their everyday work. You are comfortable with most of the common DevOps practices such as automation, scripting, cloud computing, version control, Infrastructure as Code, logging, monitoring and container technologies. We also believe that you have previous experience working with DevOps or similar roles (System Administration, Cloud Engineering, Backend development etc.), but most importantly you are passionate about technology and continuous learning.
What we offer
We work in a dynamic, agile and collaborative environment where your knowledge and skills are highly valued. You will be encouraged to take initiatives and dare to try new things as part of an agile and empowered development squad where we depend on each other while moving towards the common goal.
We are offering a flexible work environment with the possibility to work at least part-time from home. You will also have the possibility to work from Scania’s hub downtown Stockholm.
We are diverse in nationality, age, experience, background and we work actively to achieve a more even gender balance in the team and therefore female candidates are encouraged to apply.
