Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our agile team in our product area Analytics and Data Platforms which focuses on data processing, reporting and advanced analytics capabilities across the whole value chain. Basically, lots of data to work with and unlimited learning opportunities.

About the position
You will be a part of the Exploratory Analytics team where our mission is to enable fast and limitless analytics using cutting edge cloud technology. Our product is a 100% cloud based.
We believe you will enjoy working here if you have strong experience with analytics, either in modern and cloud based data warehouses, or with modern open-source data processing frameworks such as Spark. You preferably have solid foundations in database principles and/or software engineering, as these go hand-in-hand when building robust, cloud-based solution.
You will work in the Exploratory Analytics team, a team set out with the mission to enable fast and limitless analytics using cutting edge cloud technology. Our product is a 100% cloud based.
You will be close to the business to provide them with the data in low granularity data. We currently work with the latest Azure cloud technology and are very curious and open for different solutions to attend our user’s needs.
Ideally you enjoy to
Collaborate with other engineers and specialists in building data-driven solutions that are laser-focused on business problems and our customers
Build products in a variation of technologies and with varied focus (reporting, self-service analytics, large-scale data processing)
Be a champion of DevOps mindset and principles, which emphasizes on automation, continuous integration, and end-to-end ownership of solutions
Use your expertise and creativity to solve problems using modern technologies and software engineering, in the areas of data quality, testing, deployment and monitoring
Make an impact and take on big complex issues
Be around people and learn about technology
Discuss solutions with our users to attend their needs

Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in software development and testing in the field of Data & Analytics specifically working with Data Warehouses (Experience in Azure Synapse is a big merit)
Experience in Azure cloud tech-stack (Knowledge in GCP is a plus)
Experience in Big Data file formats (e.g., Avro, Parquet)
Experience in working with Agile methodologies
Expertise in data base programming languages (SQL, PL/SQL, other for relational databases)
Expertise in object-oriented programming languages such as Python
Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Good communication skills
