Arbetsbeskrivning

LOTS Group is a global transport provider with a mission to optimize transport today and build a business model for autonomous truck transport solutions in the future. We are a fully owned subsidiary of Scania and were founded to support Scania in the transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. LOTS has a global footprint with operations in the Nordics, Latin America, and Asia.

We are growing rapidly and are looking for new talents to join our mission to disrupt the transport industry!

About the Analytics team you will join

The team's mission is to enable our organization to be data-driven. Our challenge (and what is also very exciting!) is to merge and harmonize information to enable our stakeholders to absorb the information and act. An important piece to achieve this is our cloud-based data warehouse which is the source for analysis and reporting for our customers.

We are a small, co-located team in central Stockholm, which puts an emphasis on collaboration and our own initiatives. Through individual curiosity and willingness to help one another we find the best solutions to the challenges at hand. The team strives to make development as easy and efficient as possible.

Your profile

You need at least 3 year's development experience and know the following skills:

• Scala
• Git or similar

We work with several key technologies connected on a cloud-based platform: Apache Spark, Azure Data lake analytics, CI/CD in Azure DevOps, SQL Server. If you have experience in these, that is highly meriting.

You are engaged in all stages of solving software engineering problems. You want to understand the rationale behind a feature request and like conceptualizing, discussing, implementing, testing, and deploying your solution. You should have practical experience with some of these technologies and related concepts, and be eager to learn more about all of them along the way. Furthermore, you have expertise in either traditional data warehousing using relational databases or with the newer paradigm, separating data and compute. You also have some sort of university degree and is fluent in English.

In our team, we don’t just automate for the rest of the company, but do so internally as well. An eye for automation opportunities in our environment and clever adoption of build and release pipelines is something we value highly.
