About Voice of the Ocean and Ocean Knowledge
The non-profit foundation Voice of the Ocean (VOTO), aims to increase public and scientific knowledge of the Health of the Oceans, specifically focusing on the Baltic Sea and connected seas. At the Ocean Knowledge branch of VOTO, based in Gothenburg, we focus on Marine Technology and scientific data collection with the goal of the data and our work being open to the scientific community. Currently supporting six underwater gliders and two autonomous surface vessels, the Ocean Knowledge Team aims to increase the fleet size significantly, requiring both technical and scientific support, to ensure the best possible data collection.
