Job Description
This is a unique opportunity for you to take part in building up data governance capabilities within H&M. You will together with the rest of the data governance team roll-out federated data governance throughout the organization. You will also be part of setting common guardrails and guidelines where tools and processes are shared.
As our Data Governance Architect, you will be a part of Business Tech Data Foundation within the AI, analytics & data domain. The product area has a mission to create, structure, and guard data and ensure that it is available, understandable and of high quality. Our vision is to ensure that structured and qualitative data is available for all product areas and initiatives as well as our business functions to support H&M becoming a data driven organization.
You will join the data governance team who are all passionate about federated data governance. Together as a team, you will work on rolling out a federated data governance, creating autonomous data domains. You will also be part of setting guardrails and guidelines for our new data mesh to make sure it reaches it’s potential.
Less is more. Here's a list of what you also can expect working as Information Architect:
· Work together with the Data Governance team to roll out governance capabilities for H&M’s most critical data assets.
· Define principles, guardrails and guidelines together with the product teams to secure that solutions are aligned with the architectural principles of data mesh
· Implementing data governance processes and ways of working into a group-wide data catalog
· Use own knowledge/experience and problem-solving skills to creatively resolve complex issues and choose the best course of action
· Serve as a link between business and tech to ensure that the management of data is in line with current and future business requirements of H&M
· Implement data governance roles and responsibilities to ensure clear accountability for the most critical data assets

Qualifications
As our future colleague, we believe that you possess the following skills and experiences:
· Experience from writing guidelines and guardrails
· Experience from large and global organizations
· Experience from data related topics
· Used to working with both technical and business questions
· Excellent verbal communication and documentation capacity in English
It is beneficial if you have previous experience from project management and agile way of working.
We believe that you are communicative, curious, and structured. You are a true team player, self-sufficient enough to take initiative and you have a positive attitude. You have a holistic mindset and are typically skilled in enabling collaboration and empower teams.
