Interested in joining the Data Enablement Office? Ericsson's Data Enablement Office (DEO) has developed a data strategy that will empower data users across the company! The data strategy envisions:
Democratize data and break down silos to enable seamless access to a broad data set
Create clear accountability for data and ensure focus on business-relevant use cases
Improve data quality to foster trust and reliability
This vision will be achieved through a data operating model that encompasses processes, roles & responsibilities, technology, tools and ways of working to help translate the data strategy into value creation.
A critical priority for Ericsson is to ensure that high-quality data is available to run our business and meet our customers' needs. The DEO was established to define a central data strategy and support core data used across Ericsson. The DEO works with the Business, Market Areas and Group Functions to deliver an effective operating model to ensure sound management of our data.
To drive this change, we are looking for a highly motivated and determined Data Governance Coordinator who will be responsible for maintaining, implementing and ensuring compliance to the Data Governance strategies, policy, standards and processes to effectively govern data.
In this role, you will report directly to the Head of the Data Enablement Office and the position will be based out of Kista, Stockholm.
What you will do
Within Policy & standards
Design and maintain the Data Operating Model (governance, roles and responsibilities, processes and technology and tools)
Design and maintain key data governance processes, policies and metrics (e.g. data quality remediation process)
Within program governance
Define and maintain the list of data domains
Ensure that the data domain related roles are appointed
Monitor the maturity level of data domains’ implementation of the Data Operating Model (e.g. are the roles appointed and secured, are they working according to defined processes and using developed frameworks)
Ensure support and coordination for data domain roll-out
Report and escalate maturity level breeches of data domain implementation of the governance operating model to the steering group
Support the steering group by setting the governance related agenda and preparing supporting documents
Within change management
Drive and coordinate knowledge sharing activities on data operating model (e.g. data governance roles, global data governance tools etc.) to and from the Data Governance Community
Coordinate with Data Domain Managers and Data Stewards for each domain to achieve defined goals
Support the Head of the DEO with communication of governance priorities and successes across Ericsson as needed
You will bring
Education: Bachelor's degree
Good experience with data governance standards and practices
Strong experience in leading programs
Leadership experience in an enterprise or cross-functional role
Strong interpersonal and communication/persuasion skills
Strong project management skills
Experience in performance management metrics
Proven ability to coordinate cross functional teams of business, IT and other key stakeholders
