We are looking for a super talented Data Guru to set up new tracking, KPIs and actionable analytics for the new games made by King Labs.


Your role within our Kingdom

Our Data Guru in the King Labs studio will possess both the qualities of a top Data Scientist and a Business Intelligence Developer. We are looking to hire a highly intelligent and talented Data/BI specialist with a good mathematics/statistics abilities and the proven ability to apply those skills practically in order to generate business value.

As part of a new team, you will work on one of the most exciting initiatives running today at King, working on new games and helping the team to further understand, model, predict and monetize a brand new title.

-You are the first (and only) person focused fully on Data / Business Intelligence in King Labs, providing the game team with data analysis as they develop new games and features that improve the player happiness and satisfaction
-Building both large systematic reports and one-off small pieces of analysis
-Providing on-going reporting and performance monitoring from multiple data sources
-Translating game team needs to technical requirements and implementation
-Proactively developing new analyses and insights, to drive decisions and strategies forretention, virality and monetization
-Designing and implementing advanced statistical testing for customized problem solving
-Debugging and problem solving issues to ensure delivery of accurate metrics.
Skills to create thrills

-Experienced in dealing with large, real-world datasets (SQL)
-Creating, deploying, monitoring and troubleshooting BI solutions
-Have robust statistical significance testing, A/B testing, predictive analytics skills
-Able to demonstrates hands on experience with data mining, clustering, segmentation
-Software engineering skills, in languages such as Java, R, Python, etc.
-Experience in 'Big data' systems experience such as Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce, or equivalent
-Advanced user of Excel spreadsheets for analytical purposes
-Worked with QlikView or other BI reporting/dashboard systems (Microstrategy, Tableau).
With a passion for games, you will be strong in quantitative analysis, statistics or mathematics, have strong programming skills and the ability to draw business insights that will add real value to King. You will need to demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and work in a fast pace and collaborative environment.
