Data Management Sub-Domain Architect

Are you passionate about architecture, designing database infrastructure solutions and contributing to the whole infrastructure domain?
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Lead the analysis of the current technology ecosystem regarding database landscape to detect critical deficiencies, legacy and technical debt, and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Proactively and holistically lead and support our activities that guide the development and management of technical and infrastructure solutions.
- Together with other Domain architects create deliverables that help develop target-state guidance (reusable standards, guidelines, individual parts, platforms and configurations) for evolving the technical infrastructure across Swedbank, in order to enable business strategy and deliver targeted business outcomes.
- Coach, mentor and collaborate with technical subject matter experts to develop technology architecture that enables and drives new business capabilities.
- Define high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the future and current state, typically in sync with the IT budgeting or other capital planning processes.


What is needed in this role:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or a great reason for not having one.
- Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations and how they relate to achieving targeted business outcomes
- Several years of experience as architect or infra engineer working with the database solutions
- Understanding of modern infrastructure principles and solutions (including various Cloud environments)
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others, and as a leader
- Desire and courage to drive transformation
- Self-driven, and with strong communications skills
