Data Migration Lead

MultiMind Bemanning AB offers staffing and recruitment services. Our niche is to supply staff with language skills and international experience within Logistics, Accounting/Finance, Marketing, HR and IT.

MultiMind is looking for a Data Migration Lead for an SAP implementation project for one of our clients. This role is divided in two parts: Data Migration and Functional Data Specialist. The position is based in Stockholm and will start asap as Go-live is by Easter.

 

Client Our customer is one of the largest manufacturers of home electronics in the world and has its headquarters in Stockholm. They are a global leader and sell more than 50 million products each year to consumers and professional users in over 150 countries.

 

Main responsibilities This implimentation project is a lean project and the person fitting for this must have SAP technical experience and understand the technical landscape, load methods and rules connected to this. 

Data Migration Lead

Accountable for end-to-end data migration for a local roll-out project
Plan and coordinate local conversion load timing for all data objects (high-level conversion plan)
Ensure successful data conversion loads (detailed conversion plan)
Ensure availability of data extracts provided by local project teams
Ensure delivery of local Functional Design and Conversion mapping documents
Plan and coordinate conversion Cutover activities with Cutover Lead
Ensure technical preparation and pre-checks of conversion runs (Mock loads and Cutover)
Drive and coordinate conversion runs (Mock loads and Cutover)
Ensure well-documented validation and sign-offs for each object during Mock and Cutover conversion
Ensure that the work is run in compliance with the global data maintenance strategy
Provide regular status reports, escalate risks and issues, to Master Data governance organization
Report regular status update and escalate risks and issues for conversion to Project Manager
Ensure sign off of all data loads
Functional Data Specialist

Create functional conversion design and mapping
Coordinate data cleansing and data enrichment during all phases
Drive and ensure local harmonization with global data maintenance
Support implementation of local data maintenance processes
Provide support during User Acceptance Test
Ensure data validation of all data loads
Escalate risks and issues to Data Migration Lead
Perform regular data quality checks
Support process teams on data related questions/queries
Support/validate unit tests
Support on cycle 0 activities in different environments
Collaborates with Global SME per master data area and is functionally reporting to Global Master data team - Training is given by global master data team
 

Your profile Min 3 yrs experience from similar projects
SAP technical experience and understand the technical landscape, load methods and rules connected to this
Data migration and data loading experience
Understanding of Master Data
Independent and be able to drive projects
Excellent communication skills
