Data Migration Specialist

Perido Skills requires a Data Migration Specialist for a well renowned international company who delivers information for businesses and professionals.The company is situated in Stockholm.The primary purpose of this role is to successfully complete migration of complex user files to support migration to Eikon on client site.It contributes to achievement of overall business objectives by acting as an expert in user data migration, identifying and resolving user data issues and working to improve the overall conversion experience.Day-to-Day Responsibilities: - Open, convert and test files allocated to the 2nd level conversion team with a focus on conversion of Fundamental & Reference Data functions, complex time series & real time functions and basic SQL & VBA queries.- Identify 1st and 3rd level conversion issues and escalate to the appropriate resolver group.- Engage with clients to clarify content and design issues.- Support 1st level onsite conversion specialists.- Populate the UDM conversion knowledge database.- Regularly feeds back to the "UDM lead" about existing issue and conversion progress.- Closely cooperate with colleagues in the "UDM community" to share best practices.The role will be allocated to support specific clients during migration activity, principally driven by geographic location.The role will need to engage with clients to ensure their specific needs are met.It will also need to establish close working relationships with 1st level onsite conversion specialists, and with resolver groups.Essential Skills - Previous data conversion experience - Specialization in at minimum 1 financial market and user workflow and the related content we provide in our databases.- Ability to adopt basic SQL and VBA knowledge.- Preferably Knowledge of 3000Xtra/PPPro and Microsoft Excel.- Professional manner and telephone communication skills and proven excellence in delivering customer service.- Team player, as well able to work in virtual teams - Very good time management skills and used to work against deadlines.- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal Details Fulltime, 40 hrs/week, monthly salary, starting as soon as possible.Please submit with reference number: 5600PIR on your application.
