At Scania we have been doing Data Lake for a number of years now, so there is a certain stability in our deliveries, but the new needs and the rapidly changing data platform and analytics area is a constant challenge and to help us keep up with the expanding and increasing need of available data, we need you, an experienced Scrum master.
We are a group responsible for the Scania Data Platform and our mission is to make data available and usable and as such being an enabler for data-driven decisions as an integral part of everyday work for all of Scania.
You will be an important part in driving the shift towards a Data Driven Scania and help Scania utilise the power of Software and Data.

About the role
As a Scrum master you are service minded, social and communicative. You are good at asking questions, structured, systematic and have an eye for details.
A good background or traits for this role would probably be :
• Experience in leading a team.
• Able to communicate effortlessly in English, both in writing and in speech (Swedish is a merit).
• Able to take responsibility and be self-motivated.
• Experienced in working with deadlines and multiple simultaneously ongoing initiatives.
• Strong knowledge in agile methodologies and driving change.
• Knowledgeable in JIRA (or any other Issue tracking tool)
• Experienced in working in sprints and agile teams
Who you are
You are a Scrum Master with Software Engineer experience
You have experience of development work DevOps style in the Big Data sphere and focused on Data Engineering.
As a person you enjoy cooperating with other key roles in the team, such as PO and Architect to give the team best prerequisites possible to perform. You have good communication skills and enjoy working in an international working environment, and are able to embrace and adapt to changes.
Examples of “daily business”
• Help the team embrace agile core values, adopt and apply agile principles and further implement agile practices.
• Support the two sub-teams adjust their working principles to suit that team’s need, including transitioning one sub-team from KanBan to Scrum
• Facilitate the planning of development sprints
• Support the Product owner by securing we do the right thing at the right time for our deliveries to be successful
• Lead the team to deliver on all key initiatives, commitments and changes
• Ensuring incidents are handled within the agreed timeframe and that action is taken to prevent future occurrence
