Data Privacy Specialist - Global Customer Care

Let us describe the challenge we offer

We are looking for a Data Privacy Specialist. A new role at Polestar, that will help to develop our global process and trained resources to handle request from our customers regarding data privacy matters. An operational and cross functional role where you will have both internal and external interfaces such as Legal, Product Quality, Customer Care Center (CCC) Suppliers, and our sales markets.

This position will be reporting to our Customer Operations Manager, and is located at Polestar HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What you'll do

As a Data Privacy Specialist, you will be responsible for handling requests from prospects and customers who sort to extract or delete their personal information that we have stored in various systems.

For example, you will:

Support our markets with data privacy requests (i.e GDPR, CCPA etc)
Co-develop and manage a care center process & policy for data privacy, which can provide good reporting in Salesforce.
Follow our internal data-privacy procedures to ensure compliance.
Enable and support our Legal department with a global customer care perspective in audits and internal/external reviews
Support our local markets with the required training
Support global customer care with the correct requirements and demands in projects a/o system development to maintain compliance in related processes.



Who you are

We are looking for someone who is structured with great organizational skills- as well as investigational skills. Some knowledge within GDPR and data protection laws is advantageous.

We do believe that the best match for this position will have previous experience in customer support/customer care, probably in a dynamic and international setting.
