About the position as Data Product Manager
In the position as Data Product Manager you will be leading a skilled team of Data Engineers and Data Analysts to convert data into insights and explore how data can be made into commercial products and bring value to the organization and Avinode’s customers. You will build deep knowledge of the data needs of the customers, product teams and the organization and create consistency in how Avinode work with Data Visualisation. Further on you will drive strategic initiatives under the Data Insights umbrella and balance business and user needs to drive product vision, roadmap and product interactions for your data team. Lastly a big aspect of the position is to bring out the best in the people of the product team that you work with and understand the goals of colleagues and customers outside of your team. Workhops with customers and fellow Noders (colleagues) will take place both digital and on site worldwide.
Your main responsibilities: Build deep knowledge of the data needs.
Explore how data can bring value to the organization and the customers.
Create consistency in how you work with Data Visualization.
Balance business and user needs to drive product vision, roadmap and product interactions for your data team.
Bring out the best in the people you work with.
Creatively workshop with customers and Noders worldwide.
About you
To be successful in the position as Data Product Manager we believe that you have a few years of experience from software, data or product management roles. It is beneficial if you have a great understanding of data warehousing and data visualization concepts. You have a proven ability to tell a story with data and can communicate complex concepts. Lastly, if you have experience working as a Data Scientist and have experience fom B2B SaaS products this is a big bonus.
As a person it is important that you are curious, creative and persistent. We believe that you are data driven but at the same time have the ability to see the user needs. It is also important that you speak English on a fluent level since this is Avinode’s corporate language.
Important for the position: A few years of experience from software, data or product management roles.
Knowledge of data warehousing and data visualization concepts.
Proven ability to tell a story with data.
Experience as a Data Scientist and experience from B2B SaaS products is considered as a merit.
