About the position
The Data Protection Coordinator is a key role within the Swedish NSC (National Sale Company) ensuring Data Ethics by Design while enabling local development and services to be data driven. By creating awareness, providing advice regarding compliance aspects of design and by supporting the documentation and review of processing activities, you will strongly contribute to our ambition on deliver a premium experience for our customers and being the number one premium brand in Sweden.
What you’ll do
You will be a part of the Consumer Experience function within Volvo Car Sweden and work crossfunctional with stakeholders from all parts of the Company. You will also work closely with the DPC organization within Volvo Cars and contribute to the development of processes and routines for building up a centre of excellence.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Advice and support the Swedish organization
• Participating in Volvo Cars Data Protection Coordinators global network
• Implement data protection strategy and ensure compliance with data protection laws
• Quality of the Register of processing activities and documentation
• Data protection compliance checks and risk assessments
• Drafting Privacy notices, ensuring methods of communication is appropriate
• Data protection agreements
• Main contact for incident management (Data breach of personal data)
• Train and increase awareness within the organization on data protection related subjects and privacy matters
• Other data protection related matters
Who are you?
You have strong knowledge and 2-3 years experience in working with data protection matters under EU data protection law and good understanding of privacy transparency requirements.
You have the ability to analyze and make recommendations, collaborate with diverse stakeholders and drive continuous improvements. You have a good understanding of privacy by design and how to operationalize data protection compliance, and are familiar with privacy-enhancing technologies.
Good communication and training skills.
Languages skills; Fluent in both Swedish and English
