About the position:
The Data Protection Operations Specialist  is a key role within the Swedish NSC (National Sale Company) ensuring Data Ethics by Design while enabling local development and services to be data driven. By creating awareness, providing advice regarding compliance aspects of design and by supporting the documentation and review of processing activities, you will strongly contribute to our ambition on deliver a premium experience for our customers and being the number one premium brand in Sweden. 

What you’ll do:
You will be a part of the Consumer Experience function within Volvo Car Sweden and work  crossfunctional with stakeholders from all parts of the Company. You will also work closely witha global network of Data protection operational specialists, as well as other members of the central Data Protection Office and will be a key contributer to the Volvo Cars Global Data Protection Centre of Excellence. 

Your main responsibilities will be to:
•    Provide the business with data protection guidance and support, balancing business needs with legal requirements, best practices and customer expectations
•    Lead the implementaton and operationalisation of data protection requirements for business projects and initiatives, ensuring the compliant, ethical and responsible collection, use and disclosure of personal data;
•    Draft privacy notices, consents and appliable data processing agreements;
•    Undertake data protection compliance risk assessments, assist in audits, and maintain appropriate records; and
•    Develop and foster a strong data protection ‘culture’ within the business by delivering training and awareness programs, and by building strong relationships with key stakeholders


Who are you?
You have strong knowledge and 2-3 years experience in working with data protection matters under EU data protection law and good understanding of privacy transparency requirements. You have a good understanding of privacy by design and how to operationalize data protection compliance, and are familiar with privacy-enhancing technologies. 
You have the ability to analyze and make recommendations, collaborate with diverse stakeholders and drive continuous improvements. You should also have good communication and training skills.  Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is a requirement for this position.
