Within the COE there are individual centers of excellence for Emerging Technologies & Architecture, BI & Analytics, SAP, Document Management, Project Management Practice, Consulting & Change Management, Development Practice, as well as the Volvo Group IT Function Cyber Security.

Role description
As a Data Quality Manager, you are responsible for enterprise Data Quality, to ensure that Volvo Group data products and services meet quality standards. You are accountable for outlining quality standards and developing quality control processes.


Core responsibilities as Data Quality Manager:
Understanding business drivers, expectations and needs for data quality
Continually engage stakeholders across TD/BA/GF and lead voice of customer sessions to drive future improvements and ensure data products are providing real value
Act as a liaison to the TD/BA/GF within Volvo Group to ensure their alignment and support of Data Quality topics
Carry out and report measurement of data quality - consolidating quality metrics on group level
Compliance with quality standards
Educates new users in data quality
Setting requirements for usability and non-functional requirements for an enterprise wide data quality tool to monitor, report, and improve data quality across Volvo Group
Supports reduction of complexity in business processes, information, applications and integration
Supports data profiling and lifecycle data management work
Responds to data quality audits and the need for measurements and reporting of data from business operations and from authorities
Support all data quality related tasks in both one-time (project) and run-time activities (maintenance)
Supports and interacts with Information Owners and Data Stewards to achieve active participation and engagement of every TD/BA/GF in monitoring and improving the quality of their source systems
Follow and align with the overall architectural processes and policies within Volvo Group IT
Develop and maintain the data quality roadmap supporting / aligning the overall North Star IT Architecture and roadmap

Who are you?


Technical Skills required:
University degree, preferably computer science or related field
7-10 years’ experience as a Data Quality Manager or Information Architect/Manager
Strong experience and knowledge within Data Management with focus on Data Quality, MDM and Meta Data
Strong experience and knowledge of Data Governance
Strong knowledge about Enterprise Architecture with focus on Information Management
Strong knowledge within BI & Data Analytics
Strong analytical knowledge, e.g. data analysis, quality analysis, effect analysis and error analysis
Good knowledge of one or more data quality applications
Knowledge of Project Management
Knowledge of Agile framework
Knowledge with API or microservice deployment to consume and / or publish data
