Viking Analytics is a fast-growing company that enables the industry 4.0 with AI. We help asset-heavy companies to predict and prevent expensive machine downtimes and performance degradations of their processes and assets. During the last two years we have developed a state-of-the-art data exploration tool, MultiViz that is now in the market, the newly released Vibration tool and the upcoming Daeploy. We see an increasing demand for our products and services and that’s why we want YOU!
Your Role
You will be working closely with our clients in a number of exciting industrial projects. You will use the latest techniques in AI and Machine Learning to develop solutions for a range of different applications for some of the world's largest organisations as well as for small fast-moving companies. You will also learn from unique challenges of deploying data analytics solutions in an industrial environment.
What the position requires
· Independently evaluate existing technologies
· Understanding trade-offs in developing solutions
· Being able to defend your ideas
· Comfortable in searching and reading academic papers
· Strong communication skills
Desired technical skills
· Academic background in data science and machine learning, preferably in anomaly detection, active learning, semi-supervised learning
· Experience of machine learning in industrial applications.
· Well-experienced programming in Python and at least one more programming language
· Having worked with version control such as SVN or Git
