Company Description:
You see things a little differently. So do we! At IKEA, we believe that your value is more important than what your CV says. We offer positions that will challenge your skills and let you grow. Come see things a little differently with us. We think, differently. Act, differently. And work differently as well. We like to break things. Like rules. And then make things. Like music-playing lamps. And beds disguised as sofas. Even plant balls that help us look after our planet. It's all part of our vision - to create a better everyday life for the many. And it's been keeping our co-workers going for over 75 years. By 2030, we hope to help millions more look forward to going home. Maybe you can help us?
IKEA is about making things better. All the way from the factory floors to the homes of the many people. We have a passion for renewing and improving things. This is part of our DNA. But how do we know what's better or what to improve? By unleashing the full potential of data about and around our products, internal and external. It is about taking quicker and better decisions with facts as a base - going from a reactive way of working to a more proactive and prescriptive way of working - enabling people to focus on value adding tasks. We need to start somewhere as change is happening fast. Machine learning and other advanced analytics tools have a learning curve, the more we practice, the better we get. It's about exploiting opportunities where we have data right now, exploring areas where more data can be captured, and drive value where we need to build new capabilities. We are now concentrating resources in a central function for building up capabilities and competence within advanced analytics.
Come and join us as our Data Scientist in the advanced analytics team working as part of IKEA to create a better everyday life for the many people.
