The Advanced Analytics team at Scania IT is a Centre of Excellence within data science and serves all of Scania. Our mission is to make data-driven decision-making an integrated part of everyday work in all business areas. We are now looking for a Data Scientist with excellent time series analysis, forecasting, and predictive analytics skills to join our awesome team.

Your role as Data Scientist
You will work closely with different departments to understand their business needs and frame those needs as statistical problems. You will then develop and deploy machine learning solutions in close cooperation with the business and other team members. As part of the Centre of Excellence, you will also advocate for a data-driven culture within the company and push long-term value creation through the development of outstanding data science capabilities.
Your profile
To thrive with us, we think you are an analytical, curious, and solution-oriented team player. You have good model evaluation skills and confirmed communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to connect across a variety of audiences. You also have experience from working with business process owners to design, develop, document, test and implement solutions.
We Also See That You Have
• MSc or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields
• Strong coding skills in Python and good knowledge of relevant frameworks
• Solid visualization skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS
• Supply chain experience
