With over 60 million monthly active users and terabytes of daily data, in the role of a Data Scientist you will play an integral role in understanding and developing how our users engage with our games, helping to create fantastic play experiences for kids.
Our team is a unique blend of all player insights functions, namely data science, data engineering, business intelligence as well as market and user research.
We are open to both Senior and Mid Level applicants to this role, we encourage you to apply and we can talk about the set up in more details from there.
What you’ll be doing
As a Data Scientist at Toca Boca you will work closely with our Stockholm game studios helping product teams for existing and upcoming games understand and improve how players engage with their games. By leveraging your data skills to analyse player behaviour and preferences you will help us create more engaging, fun, and rewarding gaming experiences, ensuring that our games not only meet but exceed the expectations of our millions of players.
You will closely collaborate with product teams to monitor game performance, offering actionable insights for prioritisation across your studios and games. With the game teams you design A/B tests and define their success criteria, ensure the availability of required data, carry out quantitative analysis to evaluate outcomes, and suggest optimisation steps.
Is this you?

You have stakeholder management experience, with a keen sense of product needs and the ability to listen, question, and translate requirements into data solutions while managing expectations across diverse groups. In your analyses you are good at balancing detail with the bigger picture.
You are a team player who is good at unblocking the team and driving a high standard for quality and ease of improvement.
