Data Scientist

BIMobject is looking for a data scientist to join the HQ team in order to help drive a data-first culture throughout the company.


As a data scientist, your mission will be to turn data into insights and decisions. You will provide a deep understanding of content and user behaviour, which in turn will impact the strategy and direction of the business.


About the job
Carrying out end-to-end analyses of large datasets to extract actionable findings and insights that will help drive decisions across the business
Creating inferential and predictive models that drive business value
Designing experiments to improve the user experience and business performance
Working closely with cross-functional teams of analysts, product owners, marketers, designers, and others across the company



About you
You are an attentive critical thinker with a good understanding of probability and statistics, probably holding a degree in statistics, economics, mathematics or a similar quantitative discipline.


Additionally, you are
a great communicator with solid data visualisation skills
able to work independently in a structured way
comfortable in autonomously extracting datasets using advanced SQL
eager to use collaborative environments like Jupyter notebooks or RCloud
experienced in large scale statistical analysis and predictive modeling using Python libraries like pandas, NumPy, Keras and TensorFlow
