The Innovation and Technology Management Team is responsible for setting up and driving the integration of Volvo Cars' overall machine learning strategy. Our work is cross-functional, coordinating the development of product applications and services with direct or indirect connection to our cars. The department also handle competence growth and collaborations within the field of machine learning.
We are looking for Data Scientists to be a part of creating new innovative machine learning enabled services and applications. This involve handling of large amounts of data of various types and from various sources in a fast paced and agile setting. Required qualifications
.MSc in statistics, engineering, machine learning, data mining, computer science, applied mathematics or other relevant field. Or proven experience achieved by other means.
.Hands-on experience in manipulating, quality assuring and analyzing large volumes of data
.Experience in practical implementation, in e.g. Python & R
Meritorious
.Knowledge of advanced statistics, recent machine learning methods as e.g. Deep learning, support vector machines, reinforcement learning etc.
.Experience from building and validating models and algorithms
.Experience in adequate tools, operating systems and back bone structure
Personal qualities
.You care about agile software processes, data-driven development, reliability, and responsible experimentation
.Doer enjoying getting things done
.Teamwork and communication skills
