We have over 12 million users all over the world who have logged more than 10 million catches in our app. We’re growing rapidly, both in our social network and in the company, which is why we’re looking for a Data Scientist to join our pond. We hope that it’s you.
In this role you will be part of the Machine Learning and Data team. You will have a big impact on the practice and strategy of our machine learning and data science. The analysis you do and the product you build will have a great impact in the company and also on our users.

What You’ll Do
Cooperate with cross-functional product teams of engineers, product managers, and designers who are passionate about our user experience
Bring your ideas to production together with product teams or by yourself using docker, AWS or GCP
Perform analysis on large sets of data to extract impactful insights on user behavior that will help drive product and design decisions
Be a key partner in our work to build our ubiquity strategy
Who You Are
Relevant experience of minimum 2 years, with a degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering or other quantitative subject area.
Strong interpersonal skills and are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
Know how to understand and tackle loosely defined problems and come up with relevant answers and impactful insights
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL and experience with popular machine/deep learning packages (e.g. scikit-learn, tensorflow/pytorch)
Statistical competence (such as regression modeling, a/b testing, significance testing etc)
Experience with or knowledge of:
Cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud (for example BigQuery)
The theoretical foundations of machine learning models and algorithms, such as generalized linear models, random forests and other ensemble methods, deep neural networks, etc.
Strong interest in learning new things such as different technologies.
This role is located at our headquarters in Stockholm. We are remote friendly.
