Northab is looking for Data Scientist developer
Platforms and techniques / languages used in the project are Python, Docker / Kubernetes / Open Shift. Version management of code and the CI / CD process is handled in GitLab.
You will belong to a project team consisting of data scientists, data engineers, integration developers and DevOps resources. This is a area of cooperation between Svenska kraftnät and our Norwegian counterpart Statnett.
Duties
- Design and develop frameworks for the forecasting system of the national control room. Develop and produce new forecasting models for, for example, wind power, consumption, solar power and imbalances.
- Work together with the team's data engineers and architects to ensure adequate data quality, add new data sources and be responsible for ensuring that techniques, environments and working methods are effective and efficient.
Requirements
Training
- College / university education at least master's degree in mathematics or statistics, or a civil engineering degree in data, electrical engineering, technical physics or the like.
Competence and Experience:
- At least 2 years work experience of programming in PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, kdb + or similar time series and / or relational databases
- At least 2 years of work experience in teams that have used CI / CD tools
- At least 3 years working experience of development in Python
- At least 2 years work experience of agile application development
- Good communicative ability in Swedish and English language in speech and writing
