Our Exciting Opportunity
Are you ready to be a key component within the Data Analytics area?
We are now currently recruiting several new positions within the Data Analytics area and are looking for those who have been working as Data Engineers for some years and are ready to develop their skills to the next level.
Our Development unit develops the software which controls, supervises, and analyzes the base station functionality, which enables our mobile networks around the world. These mobile networks handle huge amounts of data, are the core to the accelerating digital transformation, and builds our connected IoT society where everything that can be connected will be connected.
You will
Conduct functional and technical analysis within Ericsson organization to understand AI-driven business needs and opportunities
Contribute to rapid and iterative development of high-quality ML/AI applications. This includes working with data from the factory, data from the repair centre and HW logs, and proposing/selecting/testing predictive models.
Conduct studies and find creative usage of new and/or existing data sources. Work with Data Architects to demonstrate existing data models and build new ones, as needed.
Collaborate with product development teams and partners in Ericsson Businesses to industrialize machine learning models and solutions as part of Ericsson offerings including providing source code, workflows, and documents
Work with new technologies and champion them in AI Communities within Ericsson.
Help to develop new and apply/extend existing, concepts, methodologies, techniques for multi-functional initiatives
Engage with external ecosystem (academia, technology leaders, open source etc.) to develop the skills and technology portfolio for AI’s needs
To be successful in the role you must have
A Master´s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent formal education is required
Strong skills in Machine Learning and statistics
Programming skills in Python
Strong Software development skills: Data and machine learning pipelines/flows, microservices/cloud, Git, Linux, CI and unit testing
Strong skills in Data Analytics/Machine Learning frameworks and applications: Spark, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, Hadoop, Tableau, etc.
Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge and apply it in the job
Good communication skills: Data visualization, presentations, written text
Fluency in written and spoken English
Experiences in the Agile way of working
Preferably 2+ years’ experience within Data Science in HW Analytics area
