Description

In order to support the business users, the client will onboard a team of Power BI specialists who can help the business; either by building the reports in collaboration with the users or by supporting the users in their own work, when this is needed.

You will be responsible for analysing operational data, mainly from the parcel domain and in contexts such as international cross border logistics etc. The position includes working closely with the business to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making. It also includes building and designing experiments to merge, manage, interrogate, and extract data to supply tailored reports to colleagues, customers or the wider organization.

The majority of the work will be done in Sweden, some assignments will come from Denmark. Some travels could occur, but the job can most likely be done remotely.

You will be tasked with developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop. Areas where the client see a lot of interest from the business: Cross Border, Financial report, Production KPI’s.

The client are looking for an experienced and autonomous consultant, who work together with business users and help visualizing their reporting needs.

Mandatory competence and experience:

- Experience creating dashboards, reports in Power BI
- Building Analysis Services reporting models on Power BI tools
- Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.
- Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
- Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
- Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
- Experience with DAX queries in Power BI desktop.


Preferred competence and experience:

- Prior experience in working with data warehouse and handling large data sets is a plus
