You will join the Service Engineering and Information Management team within Service Market Technology located in Gothenburg. We work together to ensure the workshop mechanics have the right standard times and information to perform repairs and service on our buses. We develop predictive maintenance to support our customer and their vehicles to stay on their mission, maximizing Uptime.
In predictive maintenance, projects focus everything from core technologies to integration end-to-end solutions, covering anything between sensor and raw data to decision support and visualization. 
To be successful, everything we do requires us to work in a cross-functional environment, building solutions together with teams in different part of the organization. As a team, we work, support each other and grow together. 
Role description
You will leverage data science to predictive maintenance and optimize vehicle maintenance, complement our team with knowledge and knowhow within predictive maintenance in the bus industry. To bring holistic approach on predictive maintenance, helping us to improve our end-to-end solutions.
You will also support other roles in developing products and systems requirements.
In this role, it is much about networking, collaborate with stakeholders and key players in a cross-functional global environment. Together with your colleagues, you will have a key role defining strategies and targets. based on this, you will engage and contribute to activities and make us reach our goals with joint efforts. For some projects, you will take the overall lead.
Who are you?

Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together! You probably have the following competencies and experience:
* Master´s degree in, e.g. Automation, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent and have worked at least 2 years with predictive maintenance in the automotive/bus/heavy duty industry.
* Key contributor setting target and building strategies within predictive maintenance   
* Knowledge and experience of coding in python and working with cloud systems
* Understanding of different vehicle failures modes 
* Experience working with FMAE analysis
* Excellent communication skills,  and writing and spoken English
* Strong networking skill
