Job Description
The H&M Group consists of 8 unique brands with more than 1 billion customers and 100 million members in 50 different online markets. The Deal Execution – Next Generation team is on a mission to enable an efficient order management flow, in a highly automated and modular way, to delight our customers with the right products at the right time.
As a Data Specialist in the Deal Execution – Next Generation team, you will take ownership of designing target information models and flows for multiple data objects in a complex landscape. You will work with many different stakeholders to understand and safeguard the technical solutions that support business operations.
You will build a strong understanding of how our business processes create the data, how it is cultivated and used and how it all fits together.
We are looking for you who can:
Suggest high-level design of information flows and ways of working within the Deal Execution - Next Generation team.
Advice the users of our data on how to use it, the quality of it and its contents
On a high level, understand data, data platforms and information flows including the relationships and dependencies therein
Collaborate with architects and other roles to make architecture & strategic decisions
Maintain a deep knowledge of the H&M Group Order data and information domains and the stakeholders
Create logical information models and support information modelling activities
Support with root cause analysis of incidents related to data in the team
Ensure quality and reliability of our logical information models throughout the information life cycle through proper governance and KPI´s
Work closely with architects and other roles in your team to create and maintain a Order Data Management and Strategy framework that supports the H&M group
Keep yourself up to speed on changes in the landscape/products that affect the information models in the Order domain
Qualifications
Several years of experience working with information architecture, business architecture or similar
Experience in logical data modelling
Worked with both technical and business questions
Experience from large and global organizations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to translate between business operations and their processes including the data/information they generate
An understanding of large and complex data landscapes
You are communicative and can explain data and information flows, and the implications to various stakeholders
Ability to handle and prioritize needs and questions from multiple stakeholders
You can establish clear priorities, goals, and responsibilities to achieve a high level of performance
Ability to evaluate different options proactively and ability to solve problems in an innovative way. Develop new solutions or combine existing methods to create new approaches
It is beneficial if you have previous experience in agile way of working. A good understanding of the H&M data landscape, business tech and/or H&M business operations is an added advantage data.
